The Portent #1-2

Jonas har köpt de två första numren av The Portent, en serie av svenske Peter Bergting. Jag gillar vackra serier med mycket färg och mysig stämning, vilket passar ganska bra som beskrivning av The Portent.

The story is set in a imaginary country reminiscent of northern Sweden crossed with China around the 12th century. It’s got a deep mythology and goes a long way to explore the relationships between spirits and mankind. When we enter the story, the world is in its twilight days, empty, bleak, desolate, but still beautiful. The spirits of the dead have returned to the earth, feeling more at home in the ruins and deserted ghost towns they used to inhabit than the spirit world.
